After a full day of school, the unique needs of each child are what helps shape our day to day activities and experiences. Leaders in the program create a safe-space for all kids to let loose, decompress, and have fun in a way that makes them feel supported, appreciated, and seen.
We value imagination, learning, stewardship and silliness, so at Coastal Explorers OSC, we offer industrious, active and calm activities to allow for this. With group-oriented, organized activities, along with choose-your-own-adventure style stations, we create space for kids to decide how they would like to enjoy their afternoon depending on how they’re feeling and what interests them.
From crafting with fallen flora and fauna in the parks, to witnessing otters fishing in the ocean from the beach, sensory experiences are abundant on the west coast we are fortunate enough to play in. We bask in the reverence and find gratitude each day we spend together.
Prioritizing time outside and utilizing the natural world around, we find our daily routine based on the weather, seasons, and the beautiful spaces around us.
